members during crisis such as suicide, violent crimes, domestic violence, child abuse, and elder abuse.<\/li><li>Responds to senior concerns by meeting with them and helping to link aged residents with appropriate services<\/li><li>Provides Salvation Army emergency funds to individuals and families who are in need of assistance.<\/li><\/ul><p><b>Appointments can be made by calling Aser Williams at (847) 745-4755.<\/b><\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-tab-title elementor-tab-mobile-title\" aria-selected=\"false\" data-tab=\"2\" role=\"tab\" tabindex=\"-1\" aria-controls=\"elementor-tab-content-1502\" aria-expanded=\"false\">Rescue Rangers Program<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<div id=\"elementor-tab-content-1502\" class=\"elementor-tab-content elementor-clearfix\" data-tab=\"2\" role=\"tabpanel\" aria-labelledby=\"elementor-tab-title-1502\" tabindex=\"0\" hidden=\"hidden\"><p>The Rescue Rangers program is a resource for senior and disabled residents who lack the physical or financial ability to complete daily tasks such as shoveling snow, walking pets, or bringing out and returning garbage toters. Rescue Rangers are local middle and high school students who have signed up to earn approximately $10 per hour (the exact amount is negotiated between the resident and student).<\/p><p><b>If you are a local student and are interested in becoming a Rescue Ranger or if you are interested in hiring a Rescue Ranger, call (847) 745-4717.<\/b><\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-tab-title elementor-tab-mobile-title\" aria-selected=\"false\" data-tab=\"3\" role=\"tab\" tabindex=\"-1\" aria-controls=\"elementor-tab-content-1503\" aria-expanded=\"false\">Human Relations Commission<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<div id=\"elementor-tab-content-1503\" class=\"elementor-tab-content elementor-clearfix\" data-tab=\"3\" role=\"tabpanel\" aria-labelledby=\"elementor-tab-title-1503\" tabindex=\"0\" hidden=\"hidden\"><p>The Human Relations Commission (HRC) was created to encourage understanding and respect among residents of Lincolnwood with various racial, ethnic, cultural and religious backgrounds. The Commission sponsors human relations activities throughout the year. These activities provide an opportunity for all residents to celebrate the community\u2019s ethnic and cultural diversity.
