Proof of rabies inoculations is required for license issuance. The fee for a license is $8; however, the fee is reduced to $4 for dogs that are spayed or neutered. A dog license must be obtained in person at the Finance Department during normal business hours.<\/p><p>Additionally, owners of a \u201cVicious Dog\u201d, as defined by the Village Code, must:<\/p><ul><li>Implant an identification microchip<\/li><li>Neuter or spay the dog<\/li><li>Restrain the dog with a non-retractable leash no longer than six feet<\/li><li>Obtain public liability insurance in the amount of $150,000<\/li><li>Post signs on their premises that warn of the vicious dog<\/li><li>Keep the dog in an enclosure at all times<\/li><li>Only remove the dog from the enclosure when transporting it for veterinary care and then the dog must be muzzled<\/li><\/ul><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-toggle-item\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div id=\"elementor-tab-title-4202\" class=\"elementor-tab-title\" data-tab=\"2\" role=\"button\" aria-controls=\"elementor-tab-content-4202\" aria-expanded=\"false\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-toggle-icon elementor-toggle-icon-left\" aria-hidden=\"true\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-toggle-icon-closed\"><i class=\"fas fa-caret-right\"><\/i><\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-toggle-icon-opened\"><i class=\"elementor-toggle-icon-opened fas fa-caret-up\"><\/i><\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<a class=\"elementor-toggle-title\" tabindex=\"0\"> Liquor License<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t\t\t\t<div id=\"elementor-tab-content-4202\" class=\"elementor-tab-content elementor-clearfix\" data-tab=\"2\" role=\"region\" aria-labelledby=\"elementor-tab-title-4202\"><p>The Village has a number of liquor licenses, which are all filled. Licenses are issued on a case-by-case basis. If anyone is interested in obtaining a liquor license, please submit your request in writing to the Village President, including the type of business, address, hours of operation, and types of alcohol that you desire to sell or serve. Pre-printed application forms are mailed in late May to all residents who purchased a vehicle sticker the previous year. If you do not receive a pre-printed form, a sticker can be issued with a current Illinois vehicle registration.<\/p><p>New residents must update their Illinois vehicle registration with the Secretary of State to reflect their new Lincolnwood address. There is a late charge of $10 per month after June 30.
